CLASS HIGHLIGHTS
Join us for an updated version of this popular knitting class, now with a fresh approach focusing on beading and enhanced finishing techniques. This revamped class incorporates the innovative methods featured in my dragon design collections, I Am Dragon Remix and others.
During the class, we will dive into the intricate world of dragon-inspired knits, starting with a 15-scale dragon swatch. I will guide you through each step, teaching you how to create perfect 3D scales and apply beads for that extra touch of magic.
In the second half of the class, we'll explore the art of finishing, from learning the anatomy of the 3-layer tassels to a unique blocking technique that will elevate your designs to new heights. Be inspired as we showcase multiple samples in an array of fibers and colors, igniting your creativity and empowering you to craft your own truly unique dragon-inspired knitwear.

Need for the Day of the Class
Students need to know how to “cast on”, “knit”, “purl” and “yarn-over”
25g of fingering weight Merino Wool (I do not recommend cotton, silk, alpaca, or cashmere. Yarn should be stretchy)
US 2/2.75mm & US 0/2.00mm 24”/61cm, or 32”/80cm circular needles
45 Miyuki glass seed beads size 6/0, beading needle, tapestry needle, 4 stitch markers
